About me

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) practitioner dedicated to helping people navigate emotional challenges, develop resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

My path into psychology has been shaped by a deep curiosity about human behavior, personal growth, and the factors that contribute to wellbeing. Over the years, I have worked with individuals facing anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, self-esteem difficulties, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I believe that every person's story is unique, and therapy should reflect that individuality.

For more than a decade, I lived and worked across Asia — an experience that profoundly influenced both my personal and professional perspective. Living in different cultural environments taught me the importance of openness, adaptability, and understanding the many ways people make sense of themselves and the world around them. These experiences continue to inform my work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including expatriates, international professionals, and those navigating cultural transitions.

My therapeutic work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that focuses on understanding the relationship between thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Often, we become trapped in patterns of thinking or reacting that once served a purpose but no longer support our wellbeing. Through CBT, we learn to identify these patterns, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and develop healthier ways of responding to life's difficulties.

At the heart of CBT is the belief that change is possible. Therapy is not simply about talking about problems — it is about developing practical skills, gaining insight, and building confidence in your ability to cope with challenges. Together, we work to understand what is generating and maintaining distress and explore strategies that can help you move toward the life you want to live.

In addition to my work as a psychologist, I am a 500-hour Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor. This training has deepened my appreciation for the connection between mind and body and the role that awareness, self-compassion, and presence can play in emotional wellbeing. While my clinical practice remains firmly grounded in psychological science, I recognize that mental health is often supported by attending to both our psychological and physical experiences.

I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, low mood, chronic stress, feelings of being stuck, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, therapy can provide a space for reflection, growth, and positive change.

I offer online therapy in English and Romanian and welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

My Approach

I view therapy as a collaborative process built on trust, curiosity and respect. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I aim to help clients understand the underlying patterns that influence how they think, feel, and relate to others.

My approach combines evidence-based CBT techniques with a compassionate and individualized understanding of each person's experiences. I believe that meaningful change occurs when practical tools are combined with deeper self-awareness. My goal is not only to help clients feel better, but also to help them develop the skills and confidence needed to navigate future challenges independently.
